REVIVE, REFRESH, RENEW
The theme of the 1st annual Ladies Time Out Conference at Carpenter’s Cross Baptist Church in Flint, Texas, September 12, 2025
Delia Lathem and I attended the conference last night and were blessed by all the beautiful sisterly love. We had our tables set up with loads of books for sale.
The worship music was led by an amazingly talented woman, Nettie Patterson. Who is singing for joy until He comes...
The speaker of the evening was Tammy Whitehurst.
Speaker, Writer, Teacher
Tammy loves people and making them laugh as she shares God's word. She possesses a special talent and is gifted to share God’s encouraging message.
The women who volunteered to make that happen made it memorable. Their hard work showed with every prayer, hug, and tear shed from those who needed a moment of God’s healing hand on them—including myself.
The theme of “Revive, Refresh, Renew” was downright spot on. A call for renewal, fellowship, and spiritual enrichment designed especially for women from all walks of life.
Here is my takeaway:
Revive—as women, we often carry many responsibilities. Some rediscovered the joy of the Lord, to revive spirits, and to reignite the passion for God’s purposes.
Refresh—life’s journey can be overwhelming. The scriptural inspiration refreshed souls with a new perspective, encouragement, or simply a moment of rest. Everyone was among friends and sisters.
Renew—the power of God’s love and grace was present to restore broken places in our hearts, relationships, and lives.
God has something beautiful planned for each woman who attended the “Revive, Refresh, and Restore” as God moved within our midst.
In the future, as we gather in His name, may we be open to new beginnings, filled with hope, and united in purpose.
Prayers for Carpenter’s Cross’ continued success in the Mission Field, the Lord has placed on each heart for His Kingdom and His glory.
In all things, we give God the glory.
